Consistency beats intensity, especially when your schedule (or hotel room) doesn’t cooperate. This is the workout I fall back on when I don’t have a gym, equipment, or more than 20 minutes.
The routine
- 40 seconds squats / 20 seconds rest
- 40 seconds push-ups / 20 seconds rest
- 40 seconds walking lunges / 20 seconds rest
- 40 seconds plank / 20 seconds rest
- 40 seconds mountain climbers / 20 seconds rest

Repeat the circuit three times and you’re done in about 20 minutes. No equipment, no floor space bigger than a yoga mat, and it works in a hotel room as easily as it works at home.
Why this one stuck

I stopped chasing perfect workouts a while ago. The routine that actually works is the one you’ll do consistently — even tired, even on a work trip, even when the hotel gym is a treadmill and a dream.
