The Viral Charcuterie Chip Bag, Tried and Tested

Everyone’s making the viral charcuterie chip bag, so I had to see what the hype was about. I always thought matzo was just for Passover — this completely changed my mind.

How I made it

I started with a bag of sturdy chips and layered in all of my favorite charcuterie staples, then let the cheese melt under the broiler for a few minutes. Perfect appetizer, born in about ten minutes.

  • A bag of sturdy chips (matzo-style chips work great)
  • Your favorite charcuterie staples — cured meats, cheeses, olives
  • Shredded or sliced cheese for melting

Layer the chips right in the bag or on a sheet pan, pile on your charcuterie favorites, top with cheese, and broil for a few minutes until melty. It was quick, easy, and somehow turned into everyone’s favorite snack of the night.

What would you add to your charcuterie chip bag?
